5 Reasons Why You’re Lucky to Have A Sentimental Lover

Aside from you, another thing that I really treasure are memories. It feels as though I have a boundless repertoire inside my head that holds all the details of the moments I can't forget. So if you're going to ask me randomly about the color of your shirt on our first date in 2018, I'll answer with a confident heart that you were wearing a semi-checkered top and plain jeans on that day. Correct?

 

Ironically, I’m not the type of person who easily remembers a name, an event, an important date, or a thing in history. Just like most of you, I also hate school subjects that require extreme memorization. But I tend to remember something or someone if they have brought a significant change in my life. It automatically stays in my memory if they have given me something that touches my soul from within and made me become a different version of myself. Whether it hurts me to the bone or lifts me up in a certain way I didn't ever experience before, I'll effortlessly memorize every single detail in my mind and will surely get a perfect score if you're going to attest me with a quiz about it. I don't exactly know how I can describe it but it feels like this extraordinary person or moment hijacks a special spot in my brain and owns it till the end of time.

Memories

Something that is just a piece of virtual sediment yet too powerful to make us cry, laugh, and feel relieved. Something we can walk back through whenever it feels like we need to escape from the reality. Something we can hold on to when things start to slip away. That's what we call 'memories' — a treasure that nobody can take away from us.
