Someday, Someone Will Stay

People come, people go. That’s the reality we can’t ever change. Love thrives, love fades. It’s hard to find someone who will forever stay. Playing the dice, in love and in life, is just like solving a mathematical equation— trial and error. It’s up to you if you would consider giving up after a couple of tries. But for me, giving up would only result in a series of more painful heartbreaks and regrets in the end. I still believe that each of us has our own match. Someday, someone will come in our life and share the best memories with us. A person carrying pure intent of loving us will pass our way and will choose to stay regardless of the situation and circumstances.  

Along the way, a lot of things are possible to happen. You will commit mistakes, intentional and unintentional. He will be tempted. You will fail to maintain your composure. He will lose his temper. You’re going to bring up all the sacrifices you did right to his face. He will be irritated. Both of you will run out of funds. You will be desperate. He will start to forget about your first dates and sweet moments. You will breakdown and cry. Both of you will get tired.

But if leaving you behind had never become his option no matter how difficult the situation was, I’m telling you that you’re the luckiest human on earth. Not everyone has someone who's ready to stay with you through it all. 

Be thankful that in your life, someone stays to help you resolve your mistakes, remain patient while you’re losing your composure, acknowledge your sacrifices, make you laugh and smile again, and gain strength when you’re down on your knees. 

Believe me, that’s a gift sent down to you. Not everyone receives that. So take good care of it once it enters your life.
